Gary Joel Pollack, 71, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on March 30, 2025. Gary was born on May 7, 1953 in Cleveland. He was the life of every room he entered. Gary was a successful commercial real estate entrepreneur in Atlanta. He had many friends and was loved by all he encountered. He was known for telling hilarious, sometimes corny, jokes but also for his sincerity and honesty. Gary also lived part-time in Las Vegas, where he enjoyed playing craps and blackjack for hours on end and, in his later years, poker. He is survived by his brothers Stephen and Ron Pollack (Susan, deceased), his sister-in-law Cindy, his nephews, Jeremy, Blake, and Matthew, and his nieces, Carlye, Emily and Madison, all of whom loved him very much and will miss him greatly. His family felt it was too soon for Gary to leave us. But Gary was at total peace with his passing. He was lighthearted and jovial to the end. He insisted he had lived a fantastic life and had no regrets, and he was ready to cross over to see his father Irving, who had passed when Gary was just a young man, his mother Marian, aunt Helen, uncle Lawry, and all the other many friends and family he was excited to embrace in the great beyond. Gary was not religious but deeply spiritual and believed absolutely in an afterlife with loved ones. His family rests easy, even while sad, that he is up there laughing and gambling with friends and family in the great casino in the sky. There was a celebration of life for Gary on April 1st in Atlanta. According to his wishes, there would be no funeral service. He was cremated, and his ashes will be spread in the desert of Las Vegas, as he was never able to make that final trip there as he planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gary's memory to a pancreatic cancer organization of your choice in honor of his brave legacy. Thanks,
